UMR Alternative Slip-Ring

UMR Capsule Slip-Rings designed by Uğur Karbon’s specialized R&D team in 2013 are manufactured as an alternative to Mercury Slip-Rings.

They are used to transfer electricity or signal from a fixed structure to rotating and moving systems.

UMR Capsule Slip-Rings that are commonly preferred in food and packaging machines since they do not contain mercury have an operating temperature of 

-20 °C and + 80 °C. 

UMR Capsule Slip-Rings are manufactured in the form of capsule, which provides ease of assembly as well as minimize any environmental effects during the usage.

UMR Capsule Slip-Rings have 2/4/6 and 8 outlets and IP-56 protection class.
